I am buying this app, only to show the support to anglophone community of Montreal. App itself allows user very limited control, doesnt allow any management of content i.e. sections cannot be selected in order in which you want them to appear, no control of what is downloadable and what is not, interface feels old, and finally it seems that the articles are not really updated and if you read it on day to day basis get ready to be disappointed as it only brings very few new articles per day.

news is not updated that often and now have to deal with annoying ads every few pages. Going to cancel my digital subscription. Dont enjoy reading news thats a half day old.

While at first I tried to use this app I found it sorely lacking. There are so many better news apps out there I simply gave up. Well I tried again today and I found those pop up ads EXTREMELY annoying and full screen to boot. Sorry but deleted this app and wont go back until its improved.

My Gazette app which worked fine before has become so slow and buggy that I am close to canceling my subscription. My ny times app is working fine.

Opening about half the articles cause the App to crash. Theres no way to open these articles. The support team advised to download previous version as there were known bugs. Better wait for the next version.

Cant delete comments from a mobile device or through Facebook activity log.

Maximum 10 articles per month before you are forced to buy a subscription. Nagware.

Get rid of the darker shading on the sides! Its very distracting.

Terrible hate the app Got ride of it Somebody should get fired

After the last update you have taken away content. Used this app for four years. Will now be deleting it.

What happened to all the Habs coverage? Since the update not one thing on the Habs. Actually what happened to all the live sporting event coverage?

Excellent app. It was changed to a new version that was not so hot but it seems its reverted back to the way it was which is fantastic.

This app always seemed to be stuck in the iOS 6 days. This update is a much-needed facelift. Im so happy they are still supporting this app, despite releasing its "sister" app (which I despise). Thank you for the update!!!

Rent and sale is missing!

I was very happy with this app and getting rid of the heaps of paper I used to amass with the print version. Problem is, when you start reading the ipad version of the paper, there are updates all the time, which take forever to load. You start reading an article and it takes up to three minutes before you can turn the page. An this happens every five minutes or less. I am seriously thinking of canceling my subscription.

I opened the original Montreal Gazette app this evening, and it immediately updated itself, but then it crashed and went back to the iPhone home screen. I checked the App Store and saw that it was recently updated. I tried starting the app again, but as soon as it showed the headlines, it crashed. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, then tried rebooting my phone, but it still crashes. I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1. I only use the original Gazette app because the new one only shows a few sentences from a story, instead of the version that is printed in the paper. Please try to fix this crashing problem ASAP.
