Was free for the longest time! What is the different if we have the app of read from the Internet? I really wish ppl would stop trying to make a fast buck!

This app was good until they started to charge for it. Ive downloaded 3 other news sources which are FREE and Ive started using my google news more frequently. The gazette could have kept their user base, but instead opted to make us pay. Download another app for your news

I downloaded this after unsubscribing from the Kindle version of the Gazette. It was a shoddy mess and this is too rough a port to warrant buying. Youre supposed to make something great and THEN make it pay-only.

This makes no sense. I enjoyed the gazette on my iPad for many years. Like everyone else I was surprised when they decided to start charging us... Almost $10 a month!!!!!! So you know what, I spend that much in one day on coffee so I signed up. Where I draw the line is with the full page ads that still show up while reading the news every few pages!!!! Are you kidding me? Its the last if my money theyve seen...

9.99$ a month to read articles now? Might as well go to the many oher free news websites instead. Dissapointingly uninstallint he app.

It s not free . Don t waste time

Warning: as with the last iOS update, the iPad app needs to be deleted then reinstalled for it to work. After that, same old not terribly fancy app that does provide the stories from the Post Media papers.

The content the gazette offers does not differ in any significant way from that offered by CBC, CTV or Globe and Mail apps for free, and yet they attempt to charge me $9.99 per month for it, while not even removing the ads! Good job taking care of your customers the gazette. Fortunately there are better alternatives.

It appears The Gazette has much to learn with their digital business. Clunky interface and user pay policy are driving me away. This app is not worthwhile. Stay away.

In addition to the non user-friendly interface, you need to add the option to select text within the articles! This is ridiculous. We need that in order to be able to quote an article and/or define a word in it using the iPhones built-in dictionary. What the hell Gazette?

Have deleted the app off my ipad and iphone when they went to a paying system after 15 articles per month - it was never 15 (less) and I can get my news elsewhere - not worth it

I paid for a subscription, but their system isnt working ("internal server error") so Im still limited to 30 articles per month. Im trying to get my money back.

Covers montreal area very well. This app is very simple and clutter free and thats the way to enjoy reading a Montreal icon. News clean an simple.

Nice reader theyve got but the price is just ridiculous... 9.99$ per month for an online version? Are you kidding me? Not to mention that their ads are still there and it is really not worth the money. They allow you to read 15 articles per month but trust me, you can get your news (local or international) from so many other sources.

I dont really mind deleting and re-downloading this app to get around the silly 5 article per month max. Id maybe pay $2 a month for the gazette but no more.

Randomly crashes all the time!

If you want to get frustrated reading your local news download this app. Otherwise just download CBC, CTV or any other local news app. Interface is also not user friendly at all.

Even when I disable notifications the app bypasses my settings and still displays them. I can read the same materiel on other apps I use regularly. Just not an original app. Besides I want access to every news paper at a glance not just one. This app is going the same way as its sister paper version. Too little too late. You lost a reader.
