The app worked once for this update and now crashes every time I try to use it. iPhone 4S with iOS 7.

Tried several ways including forgot password, no luck.

You will not be able to read the articles without a subscription. Try La Presse or the Toronto Star, both free news apps with much more informed content and better design.

Looks like they are pushing the crappy updated app again. Guess its time to just delete it soon and move on to greener pastures....

Instead of looking ahead and emulating the successful La Presse+ app, postmedia discontinues a promising Gazette app with curated and interactive content for a barren and dull news feed… if we just wanted up to the minute news, wed go with a news aggregator... and its not like it was impossible to add this feature in the old app, La Presse+ does so very well.

Bigger better app is how they lured Im into this version of the app and not long after they stopped posting stories to the old app. The new bigger better app is just a the same app with more adds and bigger ads. Thanks a lot.

Many stories dont have their writers name. Please add them to the app. Even if it is from the CP or the AP, at least say where it is from.

Trying to read just one article, and its constantly kicking me out to Safari for a pop up ad. I understand that this is the revenue stream on the web, but at least wait until I go to another article before Im inundated with yet another pop up. After the third time within the same article, I just deleted the app.

I registered and then could not read the newspaper. Any suggestion?

One of the best-designed news apps. Ive been having problems with the Facebook interface lately, however.

Super Slow. Constantly sends you to a full page ad. Come on Montreal get it to together . This app is total garbage!

I thought the Gazette was really onto something special with their beautiful tablet edition. It made the most of my iPad capabilities with multimedia displays, stunning graphics and pictures, and a full nightly read of the news. Now theyre going back to the original plain, ugly design. Every story looks the same. Its about as creative as a typewriter. Sorry to see it go. But there are a few improvements: the news is updated more often, and there are actual "briefs" of real current events going on in Montreal, as opposed to all the "context" stories that are crowding out any local news in the daily paper.
